Whoever made that ad doesn't know any conservative women, ha ha! And my mother is 93. The idea that she, or ANY of the women I grew up among (all married, and most of them--although not my mother--conservative) voted the way their husbands told them to is hilarious. They all voted, and they voted their minds.
Seems to me that the only reason a wife would keep her vote secret from her husband is if her husband was unable to manage the two of them having different opinions/perspectives. So...makes me wonder about that kind of marriage.
Rather, what kind of marriage could survive such seismic differences of opinion that the current gulf between Trump and Harris (Conservative/Socialist-Marxist) and the competing worldviews that underpin both engender?...as a thinking man I could NEVER develop a close, much less a romantic relationship with ANYONE on the Left...regardless, lying is never acceptable in a marriage and many have shattered trust and their relationships as a result...your advise may be simple, but it's unfortunately flawed...
I’m an old fart guy and love your work. All guys should read your stuff to understand women (OK, impossible), understand the pressures they are under, what drives them crazy, and how to be a better mate.
As a former liberal, the moms' club I joined after my baby was born was filled with moms trash-talking their husbands. I was influenced to see my husband critically too, as I bonded with them by sympathizing. Fully a 1/3 would later become divorced. Perhaps by now even more have separated. But the more conservative groups I joined later on didn't share this characteristic, and I still remember the shocking time I heard a wife actually praise her husband. It's a different mindset entirely.
Disgusting. I am not married, but I am a Christian. Lying is a sin. I don't understand why a wife would lie to her husband about this. They are one flesh and should agree on this matter. Only an unequally yoked marriage could result on that.
To Susans point, Abortion was, and is, not a Constitutional Right. It is a ‘states right’ and if that state is where you are, or want to live, so be it. However, abortion is a medical procedure between a WOMAN and a doctor. Not that difficult to evaluate. Why politics & government is/are involved is very, very troubling.
Thank you for your on-point comment re that disgusting ad from Julia and her progressive comrades. It's built on the underlying assumption that women who identify as Democratic would stoop to deceiving their husbands when they have their own perfectly-good political leanings. How insulting!

Trump is not a conservative and Harris is not a socialist nor a Marxist. In fact, she's more conservative than Trump.
It’s truly a terrible advertisement.

Thanks for doing God’s work! Bless you.

The ad does not tell wives to lie to their husbands.

May it awaken the women to whom it is addressed.
Well said. Spot on, as usual, Suzanne.
